Lake Eyasi
Day 3: Visit the Hadzabe trible in lake Eyasi
On this day we suggest a very early wake up, take packed breakfast with us in order to do an early morning activities with the Bush Men.
There are over 120 different cultural groups living in Tanzania today, but perhaps one of the most unique (or old-fashioned) is the Hadza.
There are right around 1,000 Hadza left in Tanzania (the only place this group lives), and some 300-400 of them live as true hunter-gatherers, sharing meat when they can find (and kill) it, and living off foraged tubers, berries, fruits, and honey when they can’t. As far as oral histories of the Hadzabe and anthropological research on the tribe can determine, their practices have barely changed in thousands of years.
This is one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa and a truly fascinating experience where you will join the members of the village in their local morning activities.
After the morning activities, you will procced drive back to the Lodge for lunch and dinner at Farm of Dreams Lodge. http://farmofdreamslodge.com/

Serengeti
Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Today an early start takes you to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, arguably one of the locations to see in Africa – a world-renowned conservation area and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The large volcanic caldera, which stands at 2236m above sea level and spans an area of 259 square kilometres, teems with wildlife and is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World, providing a unique opportunity to see world class game viewing in a spectacular setting. Dotted with watering holes that attract a diverse variety of game, the bottom of the crater is home to more than 30 000 animals including the big five. This wildlife is enclosed and protected by the slopes of the volcano. This is the best place to see the endangered black rhino (less than 1000 black rhinos are left in the wild in the world). The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs
You will spend the day exploring this spectacular area, soaking up the breath-taking natural scenery and experiencing the incredible array of fauna and flora that reside within it. Serengeti
Day 5 Serengeti National Park
A World Heritage Site and proclaimed Seventh Wonder of the World, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park is famous for being host to the annual Great Migration, when some two million hooves pound the open plains, ranging from mega-herds of millions of wildebeest to more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle searching for fresh grazing. Yet, even when the migration moves on, the Serengeti offers the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of giant elephant and statuesque giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. And where there is food, there are predators, so the Serengeti’s big cat and predator concentration is high all year round…

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. During the dry season thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park.
The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Visitors to the park can expect to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to the less common animals. Other common animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons.
Home to more than 550 species, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts who can expect so see dozens of species even in the dry season. The swamps are the focus of the largest selection of breeding birds anywhere in the world. Yellow-collared Lovebirds are a common bird sighting in the trees along the Tarangire River.
The park is also famous for the termite mounds that dot the landscape. Those that have been abandoned are often seen to be home to dwarf mongoose.
The landscape and vegetation are incredibly diverse with a mix that is not found anywhere else in the northern safari circuit. The hilly landscape is dotted with vast numbers of Baobab trees, dense bush and high grasses.
